May 22–August 9: Open 7 days a week.
Monday: 8a–7p
Tuesday: 8a–6p (no rentals)
Wednesday: 8a–7p
Thursday: 8a–7p
Friday: 8a–8p
Saturday: 8a–8p
Sunday: 8a–7p
August 10–October 31:
Store Hours: Monday through Friday 8a–6p, Saturday and Sunday 8a–to 7p
Boat Rental Hours: Monday thru Friday 9 a–3p (No Rentals on Tuesdays), Saturday and Sunday 8a–4p.

RENTAL REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests will receive a full refund/credit if reservation is modified or cancelled 48 hours prior to reservation date/time. There are no refunds or modifications for late arrivals, no-shows, or inclement weather. Customers are advised to check the forecast five days prior to reservation.
SEVERE WEATHER/UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES POLICY:
Guests will receive a full refund/credit if Lake Estes Marina cancels reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, severe weather such as lightning strikes, high wind, or unsafe conditions.
BOAT/NON-MOTORIZED WATERCRAFT
- Lifejackets must be worn by all passengers.
- Boat operator/driver may not be under the influence.
- Boat Operator/Driver must be 16 years old.
- All Non-Motorized watercraft have the right of way.
- Operate boat at a “wakeless” speed, no sharp turns.
- Keep boat 50 feet from the shoreline, lakeside of all buoys.
- Keep a SAFE DISTANCE from all boats and watercraft on Lake Estes.
- Boating is allowed between sunrise to sunset only.
- Boats and watercraft may launch from designated launch areas only.
- All boat and watercraft owners must meet insurance requirements and Colorado boating statutes/regulations.
- ANS Boat Inspections can be completed during Marina store hours.
- ANS inspections are not required for hand-launched and human powered watercraft.
- Swimming, jet skis, water skiing and ice fishing are prohibited.
FISHING LICENSES
State of Colorado requires a fishing license for anyone 16 years and older
- A Fishing License can be purchased at the Marina Store from March to Mid-September or online at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website.

LAKE ESTES BOATING REGULATIONS
- All boats (motorized and non-motorized watercraft) put on Lake Estes are required to have a Lake Estes boat permit (available at the Lake Estes Marina Store, 1770 Big Thompson Avenue, Estes Park, Colorado).
- No boat shall launch from any point other than the designated launch area on the north side of the lake next to the marina.
- All boat owners must meet insurance requirements as outlined in the Lake Estes Boat Permit Application.
- All boats are required to meet Colorado boating statutes and regulations.
- No boating will be allowed before daylight or after dark.
- No person shall enter closed areas.
- Non-motorized boats have the right-of-way over motorized boats at all times.
- A wakeless speed shall be maintained for all motorized boats at all times. *
- Boats shall stay at least 50 feet from shore (other than when beaching) any time there are people fishing from shore.
- Estes Valley Recreation and Park District may revoke any permit at the sole discretion of Lake Estes Marina management.
- No person shall harass another or display or discharge a firearm on or about Lake Estes.
SWIMMING, JET SKIS AND ICE FISHING
Swimming is NOT ALLOWED on Lake Estes.
Jet skis are NOT ALLOWED on Lake Estes.
Ice fishing is NOT ALLOWED on Lake Estes.
