It encompasses nearly 100 acres and features three ball fields, four tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a dog park, mountain bike and skate parks, two picnic shelters, a playground, and a grassy area for concerts and festivals. The Stanley Park Master Plan includes future plans for improvements including basketball courts, expanded pickleball courts and more.

Picnics, Parties and Family Reunions

Picnic Shelters at Stanley Park

There are two picnic shelters at Stanley Park. Bluebird is a cozy, smaller shelter, with a stone fireplace at the end that is suitable for up to forty guests. Osprey is a larger shelter that can accommodate up to 150 guests.  Current fire restriction info is available HERE.

Playtime for the Kids

Stanley Park Playground

The Stanley Park Playground is a great place for kids to have some fun outside. There are slides, forts, and all kinds of dangerous outdated things that need to be replaced. OK, maybe I need to take a break from writing website descriptions, because sometimes truth in advertising is sub-optimal.
