Our golf courses enjoy locations surrounded by spectacular mountain views. During most of the year, you can play a round of golf while sharing the course with herds of deer and elk with an occasional coyote or two watching. The Estes Park 18-Hole Course is a championship length par 71 golf course, complete with full practice facility, pro shop and restaurant, Mother’s Café. Across town, the Lake Estes 9-Hole is an executive par 31 course and disc golf course with pro shop and snack bar.

Tee Time Reservations

  • Call 970-586-8146 Ext. 0 for 18-Hole tee times or 970-586-8176 for 9-Hole tee times.
  • Online tee-times only display our featured tee times, call for full tee-time availability.
  • Tee-times can be made 7 days in advance for weekdays, and Friday at 4p for the following weekend.
  • Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your tee time reservation..
  • Children under age 7 are permitted with a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Tee-times should be canceled no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. 
  • When you make tee-times for more than two-time slots (eight golfers), we require a credit card number.

Resident Rates

To qualify as a resident, you must reside within the boundaries of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District. The boundary extends north including Glen Haven and Drake, east including Big Elk Meadow, and south one mile south of Meeker Park. Allenspark and Pinewood are not within the EVRPD boundary. Active military members receive resident rates. Resident ID cards must be presented to receive discounted rates. Resident cards may be purchased for $5.00 at the Estes Valley Community Center.

Golf Course Amenities

The Estes Park 18-Hole Course pro shop is complete with men’s and women’s merchandise and equipment. The 18-hole has a full practice area that includes a driving range, chipping and putting greens. Mother’s Cafe is a full-service restaurant available for dine-in, take out, and to-go service at the turn. The Lake Estes 9-hole course has a putting green, snack bar and pro shop.

Club Rentals

Rental clubs are available at both golf courses. Standard Strata club rentals are $30/set/person. Premium Callaway clubs rentals are $55/set/person and must be reserved when you make a tee time.

Advance Booking/Tournament Guidelines: Booking ahead of our normal 7 days in advance policy requires a signed contract, a deposit, and a minimum of 20 golfers.

Lightning

Lightning Information

  • Estes Park 18-Hole and Lake Estes Golf Course Lightning Policy:
  • The golf courses will not give any warnings about the lightning danger.
  • The responsibility on whether to continue play rests on the individual players.
  • The shelters on the golf course property are not lightning protected.
  • Any player, or group, who chooses to leave the course because perceived lightning danger, will be able to resume play as soon as they have decided that any threat has passed.
Lightning Safety Tips
  1. Avoid seeking shelter in or under these areas: trees, outdoor metal objects, golf carts, water, open fields, high ground, and unsafe shelters.
  2. Seek shelter in any of the following areas: fully enclosed metal vehicles with windows up and do not touch the metal; substantial, enclosed buildings; low ground such as a ravine or valley; seek cover in clumps of bushes.
  3. If you can see lightning and/or hear thunder, seek shelter immediately.
  4. If you feel your hair stand on end, or if you are caught outside during close-in lightning, immediately remove any metal objects, place your feet together, duck your head, and crouch down low in a baseball catcher’s stance with hands on your ears.
  5. Wait for a minimum of 30 minutes from the last observed strike before resuming play.
  6. If someone is struck by lightning, apply first aid immediately, if you are qualified. Get emergency help promptly!

Austin Logan is a Class A PGA professional born and raised in Estes Park. He is our Head Golf Professional at the Estes Park 18-Hole and Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Courses. Austin has played golf his entire life and has been teaching for the last 10 years, and enjoys growing the game of golf for people of all ages. He offers his expertise of fundamentals of the game, equipment fittings, junior lessons, course management, and provides advice on the mental aspect of golf. Austin can offer video lessons to those who learn best visually, as well as on-course lessons that benefit the more experienced player, and offers custom club fitting for $50.

Aaron Tulley

Aaron is the current Assistant Golf Professional at Estes Park Golf Courses. He concentrates primarily on Junior Lessons but offers Adult Lessons as well. Aaron is currently pursuing PGA certification. As an ex-college baseball player turned golf professional, he specializes in applying the body mechanics used in other sports and translating it to a successful, repeatable golf swing. Aaron offers full swing analysis and/or lessons in specific areas of the game (putting, chipping, etc.). As a Srixon/Cleveland Golf Staffer, Aaron also offers club fitting for those brands for $30.
